Corrective action: Observed employee cleaning a utensil and proceed to food prep without washing hands when changing tasks. Education offered on when to wash requirements during inspection.
5-205.11 — Hand washing sinks were observed being used for activities that were not hand washing.
Corrective action: Observed the hand-washing sink in the front area being used to rinse blenders and utensils. Education offered on hand sink operation requirements and this sink is to be used for hand washing only or may be converted to a dump sink as needed. If converted, the soap and paper towel dispensers shall be removed to ensure this sink is used for its intended purpose.
4-302.14 — A test kit or other device that accurately measures the concentration of sanitizing solution was not available at time of inspection.
Corrective action: Observed quaternary ammonia test strips instead of sink and surface test strips in the kitchen. Informed person in charge that test strips must be available for the sanitizer that is in use. Test strips will be obtained.
6-403.11 — Personal belongings were stored in an unapproved area.
Corrective action: Observed employee drink items stored next to boba in the sandwich prep cooler. Drinks were moved during inspection to an area away from consumer products.
