2-301.16 — Employees were observed using hand sanitizer in place of handwashing.
Corrective action: Observed the person in charge handling cash at the register then proceed to use hand sanitizer in place of proper handwashing procedures. Reviewed hand washing requirements with the person in charge after contamination of hands and working with consumer products. Person in charge proceeded to wash their hands according to the code.
None — 28: 7-202.12(A)(2)-(3), and (B) Observed a bucket of ammonia sanitizer reaching concentrations higher than 400ppm. Spoke to the person in charge about the need to maintain the sanitizer concentration within the approved concentration to prevent a toxic substance buildup. Sanitizer was made according to the manufacture's recommendation and fell within the appropriate concentration during the inspection.
6-202.15 — Outer openings were not protected against the entry of pests.
Corrective action: Observed main door with visible light coming through at the bottom. Discussed with the person in charge that the floors will be redone which will fix and seal those gaps in the door.
