2-401.11 — Employees were observed eating, drinking, or using tobacco products in areas not allowed by the code.
Corrective action: Inspector observed employee foods being eaten in the food prep area of the kitchen. Person in charge moved the food to an employee area during the inspection.
3-501.16 — (A)(2) Food item(s) that require temperature control for safety were cold-holding at internal temperatures greater than 41°F.
Corrective action: Inspector observed a container of 2% milk being cold held at 45 degrees F for less than 4 hours. Person in charge moved the milk into a cooler and explained that the milk is changed out every 1-2 hours.
5-202.13 — An inadequate air gap between the water supply inlet and the fixture flood rim was present.
Corrective action: Inspector observed that the drain piping from the 3-compartment sink and mechanical dishwasher was below the lip of the floor drain. Person in charge was instructed to contact maintenance and submit a work order to repair and fix the plumbing to create a sufficient air gap between the piping and the drain. Person in charge will update the inspector on any repairs and workorders.
