Corrective action: Inspector observed employee food eaten in the food prep area of the kitchen. Person in charge was instructed to only eat in designated employee areas away from food prep. Employee food was moved during the inspection.
None — 10: 5-203.11(A) Hand washing sinks are not located in areas required by the code. Inspector observed that the handwashing sink between the back door and mechanical dishwasher was out of order. Person in charge will use the other handwashing sink. This is a repeat item.
4-301.11 — The equipment available is not capable of cooling, heating, or holding foods at the temperatures required by the code.
Corrective action: Inspector observed the walk-in freezer was out of order. Other freezers were being used and were in good condition.
6-202.15 — Outer openings were not protected against the entry of pests.
Corrective action: Inspector observed a damaged threshold on the back exit door near the dishwasher. The threshold had a 1/4" gap allowing entry for pest. Person in charge will speak to maintenance regarding this issue.
