6-301.11 — Hand washing sinks lacked hand washing supplies as required by the code.
Corrective action: Observed the back of house hand sink lacking paper towels, and a broken soap dispenser that did not allow easy access. Hand washing sinks were observed being used for activities that were not hand washing. Observed the back of house hand sink storing a measuring cup. Informed person in charge that hand sinks must be adequately supplied with soap and paper towels during hours of operation and shall be only used for handwashing. Paper towel was added during the inspection, a work order was placed for the soap dispenser, and the measuring cup was removed.
3-501.16 — (A)(2) Food item(s) that require temperature control for safety were cold holding at internal temperatures greater than 41°F.
Corrective action: Observed mango popping pearls, mango coconut jelly, strawberry popping pearls, crystal boba, and yakult stored in the small cold holding unit in front of house temping between 50-54-degree F for more than 4 hours. Informed person in charge that any time/temp-controlled items need to be at 41 degrees F or lower. Items were discarded during the inspection. See voluntary condemnation.
3-501.17 — Refrigerated, ready-to-eat food(s) that require time or temperature control for safety and is held for more than 24 hours was not properly date marked.
Corrective action: Observed multiple containers of milk and cream in in the front of house refrigerator lacking the date of when the product was opened or a discard date. Informed person in charge that any TCS products held over 24 hours need to be dated with a discard date or date container was opened.
7-204.11 — Poisonous or toxic materials were not used in accordance with manufacturer's directions.
Corrective action: Observed the sanitizer bucket reading above 400ppm for a quaternary sanitizer. Informed person in charge that a quaternary sanitizer shall be between 200-400ppm. Sanitizer was remade during the inspection.
3-302.12 — Working containers holding food or food ingredients that are removed from their original packages shall be identified with common name.
Corrective action: Observed a bottle of dubai chocolate syrup near the back of house prep table without any identifying information. A label was created during the inspection.
4-501.11 — Utensils or equipment were not maintained in good repair or condition.
Corrective action: Observed the front of house small cold holding unit temping between 50-60 degrees F. Informed person in charge that equipment for cold holding should temp at 41 degrees F or lower. A work order was placed during the inspection. Unit will not be used until adjusted.
6-403.11 — Personal belongings were stored in an unapproved area.
Corrective action: Observed employee's personal items and drinks stored on the back of house prep table. Person in charge was informed that personal items shall be stored in separate designated areas to prevent contamination.
