4-407 — Distinct, separate areas shall be used for cleaning equipment, wrapping/packaging equipment, and for the handling and storage of sterilized equipment.
Corrective action: Observed an autoclave and a metal container full of single unsterilized forceps on the counter in the mop sink / chemical storage area.
None — 03E: Hand sinks shall be supplied with hot and cold running water delivered through a mixing faucet and under pressure. Minimum hot water temperature at hand sinks is 90 degrees F (32 degrees C). Observed very low water pressure to hand sink #2 and #3. All handwashing sinks shall have adequate water pressure. Person in charge was informed to have a plumber assess the water pressure issue.
9-902 — (1) Thoroughly wash hands with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds before and after serving each client.
Corrective action: Following thorough washing, hands shall be dried using clean, disposable paper towels, or a hand-drying device providing heated air. Handwashing was not observed when artist returned to procedure area to tattoo client. Artist informed inspector hands were washed in the back of the facility.

Jewelry specification information was not available during inspection. Discussed required documents with person in charge.
