3-501.16 — (A)(2) Food item(s) that require temperature control for safety were cold-holding at internal temperatures greater than 41°F.
Corrective action: Observed multiple food items in the open face cold holding unit at temperatures around 44°F for more than four hours. Discussed with the person in charge about the machine and that the cooling fan was covered by other products. Items were discarded during the inspection and the fan was cleared to facilitate proper cold holding temperatures. Please see voluntary condemnation.
7-301.11 — Poisonous or toxic materials on display for retail sale were not stored in a manner to prevent contamination of food, equipment, utensils, or single-use articles.
Corrective action: Observed hamburger buns being stored next to chemicals on the bottom shelf. Discussed with the person in charge that food items must be stored in a way that separates them from hazardous materials. The food products were relocated during the inspection.
