Corrective action: Inspector observed employee beverages without a lid or straw. Person in charge was instructed on ensuring employee drinks met code requirements.
5-205.11 — Hand washing sinks were observed being used for activities that were not hand washing.
Corrective action: Inspector observed an employee soak a towel in the handwashing sink and use it to wipe down the flattop stove. Person in charge was instructed to only use handwashing sinks for handwashing.
3-501.18 — Refrigerated, ready-to-eat food(s) that require time or temperature control for safety and is held for more than 24 hours was not properly date marked.
Corrective action: Inspector observed three containers of cooked beans that were missing a date mark. Person in charge added a datemark for 05/15 during the inspection. Refrigerated, ready-to-eat food(s) that require time or temperature control for safety was not discarded within 7 days of preparation or opening of product. Inspector observed one container of red sauce that was datemarked for 5/6. Person in charge discarded the item during the inspection. See voluntary condemnation.

Corrective action: Inspector observed employee foods being stored above consumer foods. Person in charge moved the employee foods into a tote and separated them during the inspection.
3-304.12 — In-use utensils were improperly stored (without the handle above the top of the food, not on a clean surface, not in running water, or not in water of at least 135°F).
Corrective action: Inspector observed a ladle with its handle submerged in a container of red sauce. Person in charge was instructed to store the utensil in a way that it was clean and not making contact with food.
