None — 15: 3-304.15(A) Single-use gloves were not discarded when they became soiled and/or damaged. Observed an employee handle cash and their personal belongings while wearing a glove, and did not wash their hands or change gloves once they had been contaminated before handling drink lids and containers. Provided on site guidance and discussed with the person in charge that handwashing should occur whenever a glove change is necessary due to changing between tasks or when they become soiled.
3-501.16 — (A)(2) Food item(s) that require temperature control for safety were cold-holding at internal temperatures greater than 41°F.
Corrective action: Observed raw chicken sitting in an ice bath cold holding at temperatures around 48°F for less than four hours. Discussed with the person in charge that the ice bath should be filled enough to allow the container of food to be surrounded by ice to help maintain the proper temperature. Raw chicken was moved to a new container with an adequate supply of ice during the inspection.
None — 33: 3-501.15(B) Unapproved cooling methods were used. Observed several tightly sealed containers of sliced tomatoes and lettuce cooling in the walk in cold holding unit with a temperature of 52°F for less than four hours. Discussed with the person in charge that freshly sliced lettuce and tomatoes should be left to cool without a lid to assist in the cooling process. The plastic wrap was removed during the inspection and the temperature will be monitored.
6-501.112 — Dead or trapped birds, insects, rodents or other pests were not removed from the establishment often enough to prevent accumulation, decomposition, or the attraction of pests.
Corrective action: Observed a few dead cockroaches present throughout the facility. Discussed with the person in charge about increasing the cleaning frequency of these insects to prevent attracting more pests. Per the person in charge, they currently have a pest control service that visits monthly.
4-602.13 — Nonfood contact surfaces of equipment were not cleaned at a frequency necessary to prevent the accumulation of soil residues.
Corrective action: Observed a buildup of debris and grease on the hood above the fryer in the kitchen. Spoke to person in charge about increasing the cleaning frequency for this item to prevent potential contamination.
None — 51: 5-205.15(B) The plumbing system was not maintained in good repair. Observed a slight leaky faucet at the three compartment sink. Discussed with the person in charge about maintaining their plumbing to prevent any leaks. A work order will be submitted to get it repaired.
