2-401.11 — Employee beverages did not meet the requirements in the code.
Corrective action: Observed employee beverages in the proper designated spot, but did not meet the requirements. Discussed with the person in charge about the need for beverages to have a straw and a lid.
None — 37: 3-602.12(C) Consumers were not notified of presence of major food allergens in unpackaged foods as required by the code. Observed no up to date food allergen sign that was readily visible to the customer. Discussed with the person in charge about the need to have this information available to customers. Inspector provided a food allergen handout to the operator.
6-501.112 — Dead or trapped birds, insects, rodents or other pests were not removed from the establishment often enough to prevent accumulation, decomposition, or the attraction of pests.
Corrective action: Observed dead cockroaches in the walk in cold holding unit as well as in the dry storage area. Spoke to person in charge about their pest control which comes out monthly.
5-202.13 — Observed the mop hose laying on the floor of the drainage area which could lead to backflow problems.
Corrective action: Discussed with the person in charge of the importance to prevent backflow and the person in charge wrapped the hose around to get it off of the floor.
6-501.12 — Physical facilities were not cleaned as often as necessary to keep them clean.
Corrective action: Observed an excess buildup of grease on the walls and hood of the fryers. Spoke to person in charge about the need to clean the hood of the fryer as well as the surrounding walls behind and on the sides of the fryers.
